The Personal Care Attendant provides hands-on assistance with daily living activities to clients in their homes. This includes helping clients maintain personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and overall well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist with mobility

Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders (as directed).

Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and cleaning living areas.

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.

Observe and report any changes in client condition or environment to the supervisor.

Follow the client’s care plan and maintain accurate daily care notes.

Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
