Job Overview:
The Board of Elections in Wicomico County is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to support upcoming elections as Election Equipment Testers.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing and preparing voting equipment to ensure everything is working properly ahead of Election Day. Training will be provided, and once trained, you will be expected to carry out testing procedures independently.

Responsibilities:
Test voting equipment including ballot scanners, ballot marking devices, and electronic pollbooks
Follow step-by-step procedures to ensure equipment accuracy
Identify and report any issues during testing
Assist with setup and organization of equipment
Travel within Wicomico County as needed
Occasional travel outside the county within Maryland

Work Environment:
Based at the Wicomico County Board of Elections office
Hands-on role involving equipment setup and testing
Structured, process-driven environment

Able to follow instructions and work independently after training
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and able to commit to the full project timeline
Previous experience with equipment, warehouse work, or technical tasks is a plus but not required
