    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire Harness Technician to join our client in the Springboro, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will assemble, repair, and evaluate battery packs, wire harnesses and connectors.

    This role requires a strong mechanical background, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to interpret schematics. The Battery Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of battery systems.

    Pay rate: $32.00/hr-$36.00/hr (depending on experience)

    Location: Springboro, OH 45066

    Position Duties:

    • The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with electrical wiring
    • Proficiency in electrical wiring techniques
    • Experience in using calipers for measurements
    • Familiarity with interpreting schematics and diagrams
    • Knowledge of surface mount technology
    • Ability to use hand tools effectively
    • Fabricate and assemble electrical components according to engineering drawings
    • Utilize calipers to ensure precise measurements
    • Interpret schematics and diagrams for assembly
    • Work with surface mount technology for component placement
    • Use hand tools and logic controllers for assembly tasks
    • Solder components onto circuit boards

    Position Requirements: 

    • Proficiency in electrical wiring techniques
    • Experience in using calipers for measurements
    • Familiarity with interpreting schematics and diagrams
    • Knowledge of surface mount technology
    • Ability to use hand tools effectively
    • Experience with logic controllers is a plus

    Skills:

    • IPC Certification would be ideal
    • Proficient in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair.
    • Familiarity with computer hardware and networking concepts as they relate to battery systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
    • Experience in field service or as a service technician is preferred.
    • Knowledge of low voltage systems is a plus.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
