    Electrical Design Engineer - Building Systems - Base Salary to 50.00/hour - Leesport, PA

    • Our client looking for an Electrical Designer to join their growing team. The Electrical Design Engineer role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience and an ABET-accredited engineering degree who is passionate about designing innovative and effective electrical systems for a wide range of commercial buildings, including K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, and office buildings.     Responsibilities:

    • Design electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, including:
    • Interior and exterior lighting systems and controls
    • Power distribution and layout of devices
    • Emergency power and generator systems
    • Fire alarm, data, and intercom systems
    • Other low-voltage building systems
    • Prepare detailed construction documents using AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Conduct site surveys for renovation projects and participate in design coordination meetings.
    • Provide technical responses to RFIs during bidding and construction phases.
    • Review shop drawings and assist with construction administration duties.
    • Conduct site visits to resolve field conflicts and perform punch list inspections as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
    • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification required.
    • 2+ years of relevant design experience under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.
    • Solid understanding of building design, construction processes, and industry standards.
    • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Intent to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 35.00 - 50.00/hour range, flexible dependent on experience
