    **Duties & Responsibilities: **

    • Create electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations for renewable energy and substation projects.
    • Provide design drawings, including but not limited to one-line and three-line diagrams, electrical layouts, AC/DC schematics, AC/DC cable schedules, wiring diagrams, grounding, trenching, and conduit details.
    • Participate in the creation of equipment specifications for and gain knowledge of renewable energy systems, including PV solar modules, inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), transformers, cable management systems, and balance-of-system (BOS).
    • Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices,and codes.
    • Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
    • Coordinate with clients and project managers on their expectations.
    • Work under the guidance of more senior staff.
    • Work on or lead small projects or portions of larger projects in preparation for drawings and engineering documentation.
    • Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of engineering assignments.
    • Collaboratively use judgment to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments.
    • Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.

    Experience, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar.
    • EIT Certificate is preferred.
    • 1+ years of experience as an engineer in an electrical engineering design role.
    • 1+ years of experience in AutoCAD.
    • 1+ years of experience applying sections reading, understanding, and applying codes and standards.
    • Prior renewable energy project experience is desirable.
    • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to be both creative and analytical.
    • Detail-oriented and accurate.
    • Efficient time management – handle multiple projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
