    Job Description

    Join our team as an Electrical Designer I and kick-start your career in electrical design! In this entry-level role, you’ll assist with layouts for power, lighting, grounding, and special systems, perform 3D modeling using Revit and AutoCAD MEP, and help produce high-quality deliverables. Ideal candidates have an associate degree or technical certification, basic software proficiency, and a strong desire to learn and collaborate.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate degree or technical trade school certification in Electrical Design or related field.
    • 0–3 years of relevant experience (design or construction).
    • Basic proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations, and developing and implementing electrical lighting, power, and special systems designs

    • Ability to interface with client and external partners

    • Ability to travel as for client development and project execution

    • Fundamental experience conducting field surveys of existing conditions and support of field reporting

    • Proficient at fundamental electrical design calculations under the supervision of an engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the design of electrical power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems (tele/data, security, fire alarm, raceway, cable tray).
    • Perform 3D modeling and drafting tasks using Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
    • Conduct field investigations and prepare markups/reviews.
    • Produce discipline deliverables and coordinate with other design teams.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
