    Job Description – Electrical Designer:

    Full-time position for an Electrical Designer at a small, growing, engineering firm in Riverton, UT. We want a fun, energetic, self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team.     Responsibilities:

    Assists in planning, developing, and coordinating electrical design solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family type projects including:

    · AutoCAD and/or REVIT power and systems plans showing layouts of devices, circuiting, schedules for specification of equipment, and installation details.

    · Load calculations and filling out panel schedules using MS Excel.

    · Sizing conduit, cable, and distribution equipment (panels, switchgear, transformers, etc…) and developing one-line diagrams.

    · Selection and specification of equipment and filling out equipment schedules.

    · Assist with review of electrical equipment prior approvals and/or submittals.

    · Responding to electrical and special systems plan review comments and RFI’s.

    Qualifications:

    · 2+ years’ experience in electrical design.

    · Proficiency in MS Office.

    · Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or REVIT.

    · Familiar with National Electrical Code, NFPA, and building codes as it pertains to electrical and special systems design.

    · Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

    · Ability to be self-motivated and meet deadlines while working individually and in a team environment.
