    Duties Include:

    Job Summary

    Responsible for assembling electrical equipment. Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts and tools, and fits electronic components together.

    Primary responsibilities

    Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices

    Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports

    Review work activities with supervisors.

    Inspect wiring installations, assemblies and circuits.

    Assemble electrical or electronic systems and install components, wiring and subassemblies on circuit boards by manual soldering or solder-flow machine.

    Adjust or repair electrical equipment.

    Correct defects. Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.

    Build products such as electronic control devices, and other equipment.

    Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

    Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.

    Test functional performance.

    Tag/label components.

    Job Requirements:

    Has assembly/production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude

    Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field –

    Prior experience with manual soldering of circuit boards

    Motivated and detail oriented

    Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity

    Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude

    Position will require prolonged periods of sitting at a workbench with repetitive movements.

    Physical lifting up to 35 lbs. may be required.
