DUTIES:
Design and test powertrain electronics including ESCs, inverters, and rectifiers.
Develop and validate generator systems for hybrid-electric propulsion.
Support battery system design, integration, and thermal management.
Assist with high voltage distribution and grounding strategy across the aircraft.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (controls, mechanical, aero) to ensure safe, efficient system performance.
Support ground and flight test efforts with hands-on hardware debugging and data collection.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a U.S. Person (Defined as: a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or an individual who has been granted asylum or refugee status, in accordance with U.S. export control regulations such as ITAR and EAR.)
Willing to commute or relocate.
BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
2+ years of relevant experience (aviation, automotive, robotics, etc.).
Strong background in high power systems, power electronics, and energy storage.
Experience with DC generators, motor controllers, and battery pack design.
Ability to troubleshoot and validate systems using oscilloscopes, DAQs, and multimeters.
EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:
Full Time: Monday-Friday 8AM-6PM.
