    The Electrical Engineer at Building Control Solutions will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and control solutions for building automation, energy efficiency, and facility management projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative building control systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and building control solutions.

    2. Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical components and systems.

    3. Conduct site surveys, system evaluations, and feasibility studies.

    4. Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.

    5. Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians on integrated building solutions.

    6. Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems.

    7. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical system issues.

    8. Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and project documentation.

    9. Monitor and maintain project timelines and budgets.

    10. Stay updated on industry advancements, energy-efficient technologies, and smart building trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain.

    • Proven experience in electrical engineering, building systems, or automation projects.

    • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or other electrical design software.

    • Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC controls, and energy management.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with PLCs, control panels, and low-voltage systems.

    • Familiarity with LEED standards and energy-efficient design practices.

    • Hands-on experience with commissioning and fieldwork.

    • Knowledge of cybersecurity considerations for building control systems.
