Connexa Search Group is working with an established firm seeking an Electrical Engineer  in Lynchburg, VA to support a variety of design projects across multiple sectors. This role involves creating electrical layouts for power and lighting systems, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and contributing to the overall success of technical design initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design of electrical power and lighting systems for various facility types
• Perform calculations, system analysis, and layout development
• Support CAD and BIM modeling efforts
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and project specifications
• Coordinate with internal teams across engineering and architectural disciplines
• Participate in occasional site visits and field evaluations
• Contribute to technical documentation and project deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Experience in electrical design or related engineering work
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools preferred)
• Understanding of electrical codes and industry standards
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
