Position Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in MEP/building electrical design to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing electrical systems and be proficient with Revit and AutoCAD in a multidisciplinary A&E environment.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems from concept through construction documents.

Perform electrical load calculations and equipment sizing.

Design power distribution, lighting, low voltage, and fire alarm systems.

Develop electrical plans, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents.

Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.

Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.

Ensure designs comply with NEC and applicable building codes.

Participate in project coordination and client meetings.

Work with senior engineers and designers to deliver quality project documents.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of electrical engineering/design experience in an A&E/MEP environment.

Experience with building electrical systems design.

Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Experience with power distribution, lighting, and electrical calculations.

Working knowledge of NEC and building codes.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

EIT preferred, but not required.
