    Summary

    We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our Electrostatics R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping innovative electrical systems and components for new electrostatic finishing products. You will play a key role in transforming concepts into manufacturable and commercially viable solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and manufacturing.

    Essential Functions

    • Design and enhance hardware and control systems for spray equipment, ensuring adherence to product design specifications and NPD processes.

    • Invent novel approaches to solve complex technical problems in a manner that delivers differentiating value to the customer.

    • Develop detailed project schedules, work plans, and technical documentation.

    • Create schematics, layouts, electrical bill of materials and Gerber files to take electrical product ideas from ideation to manufacturing.

    • Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.

    • Implement and refine product testing methods to evaluate performance characteristics and reliability, including in-circuit testing and functional testing.

    • Oversee initial product start-up activities and address quality issues with new vendors.

    • Work with marketing and other departments to launch new products, offering technical support and training.

    • Troubleshoot complex electrical and logical systems and resolve quality issues in manufacturing.

    • Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in product development or design related to electrical/electronic/software-controlled devices.

    • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, including schematics and process diagrams.

    • Experience with electrical design software, including Altium.

    • Strong competency in electrical prototyping and testing.

    • Background in basic controls engineering.

    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Project.

    $94,000-$105,000 per year
