We are seeking an Electrical Engineer who can support multiple engineering and manufacturing initiatives across aerospace, automotive, and defense-focused programs. This role requires an expert in electrical systems design, analysis, and optimization, with the ability to work directly with customer project teams in fast-paced environments.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design, development, and deployment of electrical systems and components ensuring performance, safety, and reliability.
Conduct electrical modeling, simulations, and analysis to improve system efficiency.
Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate electrical system performance.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and industry standards (NEC, IEEE, IEC).
Diagnose and resolve system issues, implementing long-term corrective actions.
Identify cost-effective upgrades, retrofits, and system enhancements.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit evaluations for capital projects.
Utilize emerging technologies (IoT, automation, smart grids) to modernize electrical infrastructure.
Engage directly with customers to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Support schematic design, component selection, circuit simulation, and schematic capture for control and power electronics.
Perform PCB layout (e.g., OrCAD PCB Editor) and support procurement activities within regulated environments.
Build and test prototypes, guiding them through full development cycles.
Design electrical architecture including cables, buswork, and system integration components.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
4+ years of related experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Experience designing and implementing electrical systems.
Proficiency with electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP), PLCs, and power distribution systems.
Experience in schematic design, simulation, and PCB layout.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), office tools, and data analysis software.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively across teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to ~50% based on client needs.
Must be clearable and US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years leading teams or managing engineering projects.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
PE license or equivalent.
LEAN / Six Sigma or similar credentials.
Experience with project planning tools.
