  • Responsibilities

    We have been retained by our client, a growing Engineering Firm in the Charlotte, NC area, to find a Licensed Electrical Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design and quality control of electrical projects for various construction and retrofit initiatives.

    Duties:

    • Design and oversee electrical systems for new constructions, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
    • Apply engineering principles and modifications to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
    • Conduct site assessments, document existing conditions, and provide detailed reports.
    • Review and approve design plans from subcontractors, ensuring all designs meet the necessary quality and regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers and architects in the planning and execution of projects, serving as a technical consultant.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
    • PE license
    • 10+ years' experience in electrical design
    • LEED-AP certification is a plus
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and administer construction contracts effectively
