    Electrical Engineer
    Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE + Robust Benefits
    Location: Fairborn, OH
    Position Type: Direct Hire

    How you’ll spend your time as an Electrical Engineer:

    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
    • Conduct detailed electrical analysis, simulations, and modeling.
    • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
    • Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve electrical system performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into manufacturing processes.
    • Ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC) and company guidelines.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, applying corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    • Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for system upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
    • Provide technical leadership and training to junior engineers and staff.
    • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for electrical systems in capital investment projects.
    • Leverage emerging technologies such as IoT, automation, and smart grids to enhance electrical infrastructure.
    • Engage with customers to understand user requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Support or perform schematic design, parts selection, analysis, simulation, and schematic capture for control and power electronics.
    • Perform board layout using tools like OrCAD PCB Editor and support board procurement in regulated environments.
    • Build and test prototype products, managing the full development cycle.
    • Design system architecture, including cables and buswork, and perform system integration.

    Skills & experience we’d like you to have as an Electrical Engineer:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
    • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
    • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP), PLC programming, and power distribution systems.
    • Experience with schematic design, analysis, simulation, and board layout.
    • Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
    • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), MS Office, and data analysis tools.
    • Experience with Project Planning tools, such as Microsoft Project.
    • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and influential skills.
    • Availability for travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 50% - client dependent.
    • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
    • LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process certifications preferred.
