    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced System/Electrical Engineer to join our team! As an Electrical Engineer on the team, you will be directly involved with the creation and development of new circuits, systems, and components with an emphasis on manufacturing capabilities. You will also work closely with other engineers and team leaders to best understand the needs of the company and continuing design needs. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, very organized, and has experience with design and engineering software.

    Responsibilities

    Work closely with other engineering teams and staff members to best implement new products or projects

    Prototyping, Developing, Testing, Quality Control of communication systems and components

    Work with a team in a lab environment on specialized tools and components for the US Armed Forces

    Work with other engineers to test and improve current systems and components

    Provide technical support to the facility and staff

    Qualifications

    Bachelor or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required

    Experience with security controls and principles, with knowledge of COMSEC equipment, key management, and PKI a plus

    Experience with networking principles such as understanding of IP protocols, basic routing protocols, subnets, network stacks)

    Experience with scripting languages: perl, python, bash/shell, javascript, command-line, or similar

    Experience and knowledge of RF communication principles, ideally wireless communications, cellphone protocols, WCDMA, HF / UHF / SATCOM / Non-terrestial-networns a plus

    Experience and familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, noise generators; knowledge of modeling and simulation tools, MBSE, a plus

    Experience with design documentation, specifications, requirements and system engineering and analysis principles

    Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint

    The ability to multitask and prioritize based on changing needs

    Good collaboration and communication skills - can work independently or as part of a group

    Strong organizational stills
