Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This full-time position plays a key role in leading the electrical engineering design of distribution systems for Rural Cooperatives. The successful candidate will manage Field Stakers, deliver engineering services based on customer specifications, and perform a variety of electrical studies including coordination, load, and arc flash analysis. Proficiency with engineering design software, Milsoft, and WinMil EA is required, along with experience working with RUS Codes and protective devices.

Position Duties:

• Manages Field Stakers
• Provide engineering design services as defined by Customer project specifications
• Provide Make-Ready Engineering and Pole Loading Analysis design
• Perform load calculations, circuit and conductor sizing calculations, protective device coordination studies, arc flash calculations, etc.
• Assist with marketing and business development of Company services
• Additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 10-15 years of experience
• Distribution of the electric utility required
• Rural Cooperative experience is necessary (RUS Code)
• Milsoft, WinMil EA experience
• Experience with Coordination studies
• Experience with Load studies
• Protection Engineer expertise plus
• Relocation assistance considered
