    Are you an experienced electrician or estimator looking for the next step in your career?

    Adams Power is looking for our next Residential Electrical Project Estimator.

    The role of our Electrical Estimator involves building positive relationships with customers, closing deals, developing new accounts, ensuring repeat business from existing customers, as well as making a positive impact on the company.

    You will be responsible for opening new accounts while understanding the needs of the customer and how to meet those needs. An Estimator will create estimates, bids and negotiate projects; perform load calculations; lay-out and designs for electrical systems; and has a general working knowledge of this industry.

    The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year and is based on years of verifiable, relevant experience. Complete relevant experience is someone with an electrical estimating background specifically in residential new construction, however, we invite anyone with relatable experience in this type of work to apply.

    The schedule for this position is primarily Monday - Friday, however, we are flexible to ensure our customers are taken care of!     The Estimator will attend Team and Company Huddles, weekly Meetings and Production Meetings as necessary.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Previous experience as an electrician is strongly preferred.

    Valid driver’s license and clean MVR (will drive a company car).

    Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.

    Must have some knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) with an understanding of Wisconsin specific codes.

    Demonstrate commitment to customer service and communication skills

    Ability to follow and give written and verbal directions.

    Experience using Bluebeam is a plus.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    Conduct virtual and on-site meetings with clients to review solutions that best serve the needs of their home or business.

    Review Specifications, RFP, Basis of Design and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

    Performs estimating process daily, including take-off’s, obtaining quotations from subcontractors & suppliers

    Preparing the proposal and other bid return documentation.

    Present professional demonstrations or presentations of the company products, programs, and services.

    Organize follow-up appointments with clients to review proposals and close the deal.

    Identify and cultivate opportunities for new business.

    Establish / maintain relationships with clients built on confidence, competency, and professionalism.

    Monitor all projects sold from conception to completion.

    Coordinate with Production to ensure timely delivery of all proposals

    Coordinate proposal and construction schedules with Planning/Scheduling Dept

    Work with vendors to compile all required bid submittal information

    Support the Business Development and Marketing Department in the pursuit of new work

    Determine customer satisfaction with follow-up on all installation/services sold
