    Job Title: Electrical Estimator – Fire, Security & Low Voltage Systems

We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm systems, intrusion and access control, surveillance systems, and other low-voltage technologies for commercial and industrial clients. Our team is dedicated to delivering reliable, code-compliant, and high-quality service across every project.

    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a focus on fire alarm, burglar/security, and low-voltage systems. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates, reviewing drawings and specifications, and coordinating with vendors, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents for fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV, and other low-voltage projects.

    Prepare detailed estimates, including material, labor, and equipment costs.

    Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing.

    Identify cost-saving opportunities, design alternatives, and value-engineering options.

    Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during the pre-construction and bidding process.

    Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all estimates, pricing, and bid results.

    Stay informed on industry trends, materials, codes, and manufacturer standards.

    Qualifications:

    2+ years of experience as an estimator in electrical, fire alarm, or low-voltage systems.

    Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, NEC requirements, and industry best practices.

    Proficiency with estimating software (McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar).

    Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    Ability to handle multiple bids and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.

    Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of system design and installation processes.
