Job Description

We are seeking an electrical estimator and business developer to join our 5-star rated team. In this role, you will generate new business through networking and cold-calling, perform electrical inspections, generate estimates, and provide several options to the customer.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of sales experience in any field (construction or electrical sales is preferred)

Must be professional, able to network, and excel with conversation

Excellent customer service skills with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction

Excellent grammar (verbal and written) & mathematics skills

Strong negotiation skills with a drive to sell

Sales tracking and analysis skills with a CRM

Ability to work with others and team-oriented

Strong work ethic, dependable, organized, detail oriented, and positive attitude

Ability to self-manage & work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Obtain leads and convert them to clients through networking groups such as BNI

Perform the electrical inspection, estimate, and provide several options to the customer, if requested

Build strong relationships and trust with customers and professional partners through excellent communication

Cold-call general contractors, trades partners, realtors, and property managers

Use Housecall Pro to generate and send estimates

Prepare & execute daily sales plan

Stay current on materials pricing & availability due to constantly changing market conditions

Perform electrical work on an as-needed basis
