    Electrical Construction Company seeking experienced LV Electrical Estimator. Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate comprehensive cost estimates for various commercial projects with a focus on access control, CCTV, security, and data communications systems. This is a full-time on-site position located in Albany, Oregon. Typical Duties:

    Create accurate, detailed take-offs of site plans of electrical materials and labor required.

    Analyze contract specifications, drawing, schedules, and all other project documents.

    Identify technical issues in written format to submit pre-bid clarifications.

    Communicate with suppliers, and internal team to formulate accurate estimates.

    Minimal travel to participate at certain site visits to gather all necessary data for accurate estimation.

    Works collaboratively with the estimating team to develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the electrical activities.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    Knowledge of low-voltage systems, access control, CCTV, security, data communications and their typical components, and installation procedures to accurately estimate the scope of projects and potential costs.

    Exceptional communication skills to clearly present and explain electrical cost and interface of estimate.

    Detail-oriented with ability to understand complex blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.

    Problem-solving skills to adjust estimates and proposals in response to unforeseen project complications or changes in scope.

    Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations important.

    Experience with estimating software, Bluebeam a plus.

    Experience: Educational and experience requirements include: Two to four-year construction-related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related field experience. Experience in electrical construction estimating. Organizational and decision-making/problem-solving skills are essential.
