National subcontractor seeking an Electrical Preconstruction Engineer for its Kansas City office. This role supports electrical project estimates and designs, focusing on commercial and industrial markets.

• Anticipate $75K-$90K, BOE
• Full suite of benefits,  including 401K with 3% contribution, health/dental/vision, PTO, and educational assistance after two years.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze design documents and RFPs to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Create electrical designs and construction drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Participate in pre-bid and strategy meetings.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams on estimates.
• Provide recommendations for cost trends and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required;
• Bachelor’s in engineering or 5+ years electrical construction experience
• 5+ years electrical design experience in commercial/industrial markets
• Preferred: AutoCAD, Revit, estimating software; PE/EIT registration (a big plus)
• Valid driver’s license, clean record; must pass background/drug screen
• Office based position
