    Wright Technical Services is assisting a leading automation client in finding an Electrical Project Engineer. This role is vital for overseeing the engineering processes that enhance the design, development, production, and servicing of advanced automation equipment.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Define project timelines and resource needs while leading teams to ensure milestones are met and budgets maintained.
    • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to develop and troubleshoot complex automation systems, including control systems.
    • Guide teams in resolving technical issues and oversee system start-up and fine-tuning to meet performance standards.
    • Maintain project budgets efficiently and collaborate with procurement for cost-effective supplier strategies.
    • Manage installation and commissioning activities, ensuring effective system integration and addressing customer payment issues post-project.
    • Compile manuals and develop engineering standards while ensuring compliance with ISO documentation requirements.
    • Mentor junior engineers and participate in performance evaluations to foster a collaborative team culture.

     

    Education and Experience

     

    • Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
    • At least 8 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, including knowledge of PLC/HMI systems, robot programming, and control systems.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical for schematic design is advantageous.
    • Proven leadership in project management and collaboration with diverse teams.
    • Willingness to travel approximately 25% based on project requirements.
  • Compensation
    $85,000-$115,000 per year
