    2 Vets is a commercial electrical contractor, we are seeking a motivated Estimator/Project Engineer to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in both the pre-construction and project execution phases, supporting estimating, planning, and project coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

    This role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented skilled with numbers and comfortable reviewing construction plans and coordinating project details.

    Preferred Qualifications

    2+ years of experience in commercial electrical estimating, project engineering, or related construction preferred

    Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail

    Ability to read and interpret commercial construction plans and specifications

    Understanding of commercial electrical systems and installation methods

    Key Responsibilities

    Review and analyze commercial and electrical building plans and specifications

    Prepare project estimates, including labor hours, material quantities, equipment rentals, travel expenses and other project costs

    Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes for electrical gear, lighting and materials

    Assist in developing accurate project budgets and bid proposals

    Communicate with general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers

    Assist with project management tasks, including scheduling and submittals

    Track project details and ensure deadlines and bid schedules are met

    Maintain organized documentation or estimates, quotes and project information

    Requirements

    Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to anticipate project needs and deadlines

    Ability to manage multiple project priorities

    Comfortable working with estimating and construction management software

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Minor travel is required – New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado and Utah
