Gypsy is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Inspector to ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections on electrical installations, equipment, and systems.

    Verify compliance with NEC, NFPA, NETA, MSHA/OSHA, and project-specific codes and standards.

    Conduct inspections of conduit, cable trays, terminations, grounding, switchgear, transformers, and control panels.

    Review and approve test packages, ITPs, and inspection checklists.

    Track non-conformances, corrective actions, and maintain QA/QC documentation.

    Work closely with project managers, engineers, and construction crews to ensure safe and compliant work.

    Support commissioning activities and verify test results.

    Qualifications

    Journeyman Electrician License (Idaho or reciprocal state preferred).

    5+ years of industrial electrical experience; QA/QC or inspection background required.

    Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NETA, and MSHA/OSHA standards.

    Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, and specifications.

    Familiarity with torque verification, cable testing, and grounding systems.

    Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

    Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Preferred

    QA/QC certification (e.g., ASQ, AWS CWI-E, or equivalent).

    Experience in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial facilities.

    Proficiency with Procore or other construction management software.
