THE ROLE
Seeking a talented Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the Electrical Source Holdings Finance team. This FP&A Analyst position is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full FP&A support to primarily internal customers.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is primarily responsible for financial reporting and data analytics. The FP&A Analyst will have an advanced ability to analyze data, highlight key insights, and recommend actions to key stakeholders. This analysis focus includes analyzing, researching, and preparing financial information and reports to meet specific daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. This position will have frequent interaction with internal business partners and should be comfortable building strong relationships and asking questions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to understand an internal/external customer's business needs and translate those needs into specific analytics requirements.
- Extract, cleanse, and manipulate large data from multiple data sources into standardized reporting structures.
- Consistently seek out new challenges and opportunities for improvement with demonstrated ability to learn quickly and implement new technologies and platforms.
- Extreme attention to detail and accuracy with an ability plan and organize tasks, responsibilities, and priorities.
- Working collaboratively with other team members utilizing their strengths to achieve optimal performance and results.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
- The FP&A function is not a static environment due to the regular acquisitions we make. The successful candidate will need to be able to manage their workload in a regularly changing environment.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work over multiple divisions in a centralized corporate environment.
- Process improvement contributions. Targeted improvement is important measuring stick. Reducing close cycle time and streamline efficiencies.
- Demonstrated energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-acquisition focused environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited university in finance, economics or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required. Financial statement acumen is required.
- 2-4 years of experience in a directly related area, during which professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
- Solid experience with Data Warehousing and BI systems (Powerpivot, Power BI, Tableau).
- Expertise in MS Excel including the ability to define and debug advanced formulae, look ups, power query, advanced charting, pivot tables.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools, and data visualization tools (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Business Objects, Power BI, and Tableau and QlikView).
