    Electrical Supervisor - Commercial and Industrial Construction - Base Salary to 85k/year - Jessup, MD

    • Our client, a commercial and industrial electrical contractor, is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee field operations across active job sites. This role is responsible for supervising installation, maintenance, and project execution while ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project schedules.
    • This is a travel-based position supporting projects nationwide.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and apprentices on commercial and industrial job sites
    • Plan, assign, and monitor work to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
    • Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawings
    • Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes
    • Lead job site safety efforts, including conducting safety meetings and enforcing OSHA standards
    • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades
    • Manage material procurement, job site inventory, and tool/equipment needs
    • Troubleshoot electrical systems and provide technical direction to field personnel
    • Monitor crew productivity, workmanship quality, and adherence to schedules
    • Train and mentor electricians and apprentices in field operations
    • Maintain daily reports, timekeeping, and project documentation
    • Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts

    Qualifications:

    • Journeyman or Master Electrician license
    • 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction
    • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory, foreman, or lead electrician role
    • Experience supervising multiple crews on active job sites
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, controls, and industrial equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineered drawings
    • Experience performing field design and labor/material takeoffs
    • OSHA 30 certification
    • Valid driver’s license required for travel between job sites
    • Ability to travel nationwide for project work (travel schedule may include extended stays)
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 83k - 85k/year range
