Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Seeking a skilled and seasoned Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) working with EPC on industrial capital projects from concept, FEED, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction.

• Size and specify instrumentation and controls including pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, modulating control valves, regulators, on/off valves, and actuators
• Create datasheets and work with vendors to get quotes for instrumentation and controls
• Coordinate with process engineering team to select the appropriate devices
• Create schematics, termination drawings, or loop sheets for instrument wiring
• Design custom control panels to meet the project need

Skills and expertise.

• B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of related experience in engineering and design of instrumentation and controls for capital projects.
• Experience sizing and specifying instrumentation and controls to include pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, modulating control valves, regulators, on/off valves and actuators.
• Experience with FEED and detailed engineering process
• Strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD
