EHC is currently looking for an Electrician Assistant for a client in the south Houston, TX area.

Job Summary:

The Electrician Assistant supports other licensed electricians by performing essential tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparing job sites
• Assist lead electrician
• Gather tools, cutting and bending wire for preparations
• Troubleshooting
• Operates various machines and equipment, including forklifts, manlifts
• Handle physical tasks and electrical work to help crew work efficiently and safely
• Assist with installing fixtures, outlets, motors, and components

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work independently
• Open communication
• Able to troubleshoot using the correct equipment
• Background in electrical; all aspects of electrical work
