The Electrical Service & Construction Technician is responsible for performing electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of residential and commercial projects. This role involves driving a company vehicle to service locations, interacting with customers, and providing professional recommendations—including potential upgrades and sales opportunities. Responsibilities: • Drive a company vehicle safely to service appointments, job sites, and client locations. • Perform electrical work, including service calls, new construction wiring, remodel projects, and system upgrades. • Diagnose electrical issues, provide accurate assessments, and make effective repair recommendations. • Execute installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to ensure high-quality outcomes. • Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear explanations of work performed. • Identify and promote additional services or products based on customer needs (light sales). • Maintain accurate job documentation, including work orders, materials used, and time tracking. • Keep company vehicle and tools organized, clean, and properly maintained. • Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required). • Prior electrical experience (service, construction, remodel, or related field preferred). • Ability to diagnose electrical problems and interpret electrical schematics. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks typical of electrical work. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Must be able to work full-time , with occasional overtime as needed. • State electrical license or apprentice registration (if required by your state). Compensation: $15 - $30 hourly
