Electrician Service Technician

Location: West Columbia, SC (within approximately 45-minute service radius) Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $50,000–$100,000 annually + performance bonuses + up to $2,000 starting bonus

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical systems

Perform service repairs, installations, and upgrades

Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding findings and solutions

Provide accurate estimates and explain pricing

Work independently from a fully stocked service vehicle

Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and efficiency

Ensure customer satisfaction on every job

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of residential electrical field experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Proven track record of excellent customer service

Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism

Clean driving record

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred

3–5 years minimum hands-on residential electrical experience

Preferred (Not Required)

Any relevant certifications or electrical licenses are a plus

Generator installation and service experience is a plus

Additional trade certifications are a plus
