    We are looking to hire a full-time Electrician (Journeyman or Wireman) to join our team in our Boston (Peabody) location. Generator Supercenter is a great, fun, and rewarding company to work with. Join the newest franchise of the largest Generac Dealer team in North America. In this role, you will work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman. Full-time. Mostly Residential Projects

    Apprentice, Certified or Licensed

    Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License

    High school diploma or GED

    Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience

    Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code)

    AC and DC electrical experience preferred

    Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints

    Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters

    Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

    Installing Standby Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches

    Electrical/Generator service calls

    Heavy Lifting is required - Be physically able to perform the job duties including bending, stooping, climbing ladders, pulling, grasping, and walking on uneven surfaces.

    Must have the ability to work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

    Proper eyesight/vision to be able to perform mechanical repairs safely.

    Be able to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

    Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership if necessary
