    Position Description

    You will serve as a ELECTRICIAN in the FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST FACILITY & INFRASTRUCTURE MGMT DEPT FACILITY & PLANT MAINT DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

    Position Duties/Responsibilities

    • You will use hand tools, portable power tools and a wide variety of test equipment.
    • You will be familiar with basic electronic theory, including Ohm’s law.
    • You will be familiar with troubleshooting techniques to assist higher-level employee in troubleshooting and to troubleshoot for common recurring kinds of defects.
    • You will apply blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, technical manuals, National Electric Code, National Fire Codes, local codes, and use trade formulas to calculate common properties.
    • You will test equipment such as multi-meters, meggers, dielectric test sets and programming automated test equipment.
    • You will perform standard soldering operations on cable/harness assemblies, connectors, and power assemblies, and assist soldering to printed circuit cards.
