Job Summary of Residential Electrician:

The Residential Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities for Residential Electrician:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential buildings.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes and standards.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other construction professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of work performed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications for Residential Electrician:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential electrician.
• Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficient with electrical tools and equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
