What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end integration of hardware subsystems, ensuring seamless interoperability between electrical, mechanical, and material components
- Develop, refine, and optimize specialized manufacturing and assembly processes
- Perform FEA simulations and engineering analyses to guide system architecture, fluid dynamics, structural design, and operational performance
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate material durability, process repeatability, and overall system performance
- Design, assemble, and wire electro-mechanical test fixtures and data acquisition systems to evaluate prototype functionality
- Translate high-level technical objectives into practical hardware solutions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Hands-on experience integrating complex hardware systems involving mechanical, electrical, and material interfaces
- Proven success building, scaling, and transitioning laboratory-scale assemblies into functional prototypes
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent and experience utilizing FEA tools for design optimization
- Mechanical aptitude for designing, building, troubleshooting, and testing sophisticated hardware systems
- Working knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals as applied to hardware integration and system validation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly learn, master, and document specialized technical processes
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering environment
