Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years in a similar role in the Pro AV industry.
- Capability to design an audio system for portable, installed or intercom sound.
- Knowledge of DSP and its use cases.
- In-depth vertical knowledge inside Education, Corporate, Hospitality, Sports, and Houses of Worship.
- Must understand how to manage B2B Sales.
- A proven track record of success and quota achievement.
- Ability to establish credibility quickly with Sweetwater Sales Engineers.
- Demonstrates strong work and business ethics with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proven ability to build internal relationships and influence Sales Engineers across all levels of the portfolio.
- Exceptional communication skills, which include both verbally and digitally with the ability to tailor communications depending on the audiences.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functions teams to drive results.
- Ability to establish growth plans while challenging our partners to outperform against the competition.
- Experience with software applications including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and Teams) and Power BI.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for tradeshows and company meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Sales experience selling Commercial Audio, Pro-Audio, and Sound Reinforcement preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of audio and signal flow.
- Hands on experience deploying professional audio systems.
Required Abilities:
- Must be able to occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds, more with assistance, for events or demonstrations.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment, including extended periods of sitting, computer use, and video conferencing.
Additional Information
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$103,000, with OTE of $114,000-$148,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
