We are seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to join our Fort Lauderdale team. In this role, you will perform precision soldering, fine paint touch-up, and mechanical assembly on critical aerospace components, directly contributing to the safety and performance of aircraft systems around the globe.
Perform fine paint touch-up and surface finishing on antennas and aerospace components (primary responsibility) to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards
Support precision soldering on small electrical components, circuit cards, and assemblies under microscope
Assist with mechanical assembly and bonding tasks involving adhesives, epoxies, and fixtures
Inspect, clean, and correct components using detail-focused techniques to maintain aerospace quality standards
Operate and maintain hand tools, soldering irons, microscopes, and basic electrical/measuring equipment
Follow work instructions, drawings, and technical specifications with precision and accuracy
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety and aerospace quality standards
Support cross-training opportunities and perform additional duties as assigned by management
Hands-on paint touch-up experience in a manufacturing or production environment (strongly preferred)
Soldering experience (IPC/J-STD certification preferred) with ability to perform precision soldering under microscope
Familiarity with adhesives, epoxies, bonding, and mechanical assembly techniques
Excellent hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, accurate color vision, and visual precision with ability to perform repetitive, microscope-level work
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and finishing specifications
Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
