    Elektrofi is a biologics formulation startup focusing on the subcutaneous delivery of proteins. We deliver ultra-high concentration doses of proteins using our proprietary microparticle technology. This technology will expand access to biologics by replacing the traditional hours-long intravenous infusion required for most proteins with a rapid subcutaneous injection that can be self-administered at home.

    Position Summary

    Elektrofi is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our biotech company full-time as an Associate Scientist, Translational Development to support the development of the novel Elektrofi formulation platform. The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and industry professionals.

    A successful candidate will support the development of the novel Elektrofi formulation platform. The individual will join a growing, multidisciplinary team of scientists/engineers and contribute to a variety of in vitro and in vivo activities in a highly collaborative environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, plan, and execute in vitro and in vivo experiments to generate preclinical data that supports the development of Elektrofi’s technology platform.
    • Conduct data analyses, interpret experimental results, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports and manuscripts.
    • Work closely with the Translational team and other internal groups such as Formulations, Analytical, Process, and Quality to produce test articles for Translational studies.
    • Support the coordination of studies at external CROs (contract research organizations)
    • Participate in scientific meetings and present research findings to the team and external parties.
    • Effectively document and communicate ideas and results.
    • Stay current on industry trends, advancements, and best practices, and proactively implement new technologies and techniques to improve research outcomes.
