    POSITION SUMMARY

    Elektrofi is looking for a Contract Research Associate to support a team responsible for the analytical method development and characterization of biologically active microparticles.  This candidate will support ongoing activities towards the development  an early-stage, multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers and contribute to a variety of CMC activities in a highly collaborative environment.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS

    • B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Bioengineering or a related field;
    • 1+ years of lab experience;
    • Analytical and critical thinking abilities
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • A desire to gain hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and techniques for the analysis of microparticles and biologics
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment

    ADDITIONAL RELEVANT SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES INCLUDE:

    • A background in the characterization of biologics, including chromatography, electrophoresis and spectroscopy is desired
    • Physiochemical characterization experience (subvisible particulates, particle size, morphology, DSC, etc.) is desired
    • Good attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly document experimental work
    • Familiarity with standard office software (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Adhere to established procedures to deliver reproducible and high impact results under tight timelines
    • Perform routine analytical testing to support internal R&D and external collaborations
    • Assist in analytical process and method optimization under supervision
    • Contribute to the development of phase appropriate test methods and controls under supervision
    • Assist with documentation and laboratory information management efforts
    • Effectively document and communicate ideas and results within an interdisciplinary team
