    Job Description

    IDIQ is looking for an efficient, organized, and accountable Accounting Clerk with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with the Accounting & Finance department.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • The Accounting Clerk will be involved in a variety of accounting processes and functions
    • The Accounting Clerk will need to be able to multi-task while performing tasks relative to AP / AR/ Payroll and general accounting
    • Assists with recording journal entries, processing payroll, AP, AR and other analysis.
    • Assists with preparing monthly financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
    • Abiding by all company procedures and accounting principles.
    • Responding appropriately to a vendor, client, and internal requests.
    • Ensuring the Accounting Department runs smoothly and efficiently.
    • Other AD HOC reporting as needed
    • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
    • Experience in processing payroll, AP, and AR.
    • A college degree from an accredited four- year college or university preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

    Preferred Knowledge and Skill:

    • Strong telephonic and electronic communication skills and etiquette.
    • Established track record of reliability and good attendance.
    • Strong communication and cross-functional skills with the ability to engage, listen, and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborative with the ability to structure mutually beneficial partnerships.
    • Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information.
    • Ability to multitask with a high volume of tasks.
    • Flexibility to handle rapid and frequent change and interest in taking on new tasks.
    • High level of organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and time-manage across multiple deadlines.

    Additional Information

    Position Details: This is a full-time, hourly position (40 hours/week).

    Pay: The pay range for this position is a minimum of $24.00-$30.00 per hour. The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, and experience.

The employee is regularly required to push, or otherwise move up to 10-30lbs of various equipment. Applications may include but are not limited to repetitive work operating a computer keyboard, mouse and headphones while primarily maintaining a stationary position and occasionally moving about at an assigned work desk area.
