About the Role:

Join St. Elizabeth Nursery And Montessori as an Elementary Reading & Language Art Teacher for Grades 1-6, where you'll inspire young minds through engaging literacy programs. We are dedicated to fostering a love for reading and language in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement dynamic reading and language arts curricula for Grades 1-6.

Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.

Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.

Incorporate diverse teaching methods and resources to enhance literacy skills.

Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular literacy initiatives.

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.

Participate in professional development to stay current with educational best practices.

Foster a love for reading through creative and engaging activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s preferred.

New Jersey teaching certification in Elementary Education or Reading Specialist.

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in elementary education.

Strong understanding of literacy development and instructional strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion for working with young learners and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and engage with families.

Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
