Bethany School’s Elementary Teachers work diligently to provide a caring, Christ-centered, and future-focused environment in our Kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms. This position involves teaching academic and Biblical subject to students, fostering their growth both academically and spiritually. Duties:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Utilize various teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, including special education needs working with Bethany School’s B.E.S.T. program.
Conduct assessments and standardize testing to evaluate student progress and adapt instruction accordingly.
Maintain effective classroom management techniques to promote a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
Mentor students in their academic and person growth, providing guidance and support as needed.
Incorporate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences, including literacy education and math instruction.
Organize physical education activities that promote health and wellness among students.
Collaborate with parent, colleagues, and administration to support student success and address any concerns.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in alignment with school curriculum and standards.

Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Education
Valid teaching credential
Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
