    As a Dental Industry Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and accounting functions within a dental industry organization. Your primary role will involve managing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. You will collaborate with senior management to develop strategic financial objectives, provide insights to support decision-making, and ensure the organization's financial health and integrity. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. • Conduct variance analysis to track performance against budget and forecast, and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts based on business performance, market trends, and operational assumptions. • Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements in financial reporting. • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and Owner Doctors highlighting key financial metrics, trends, and insights. • Establish and maintain effective internal control policies, procedures, and systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions to strengthen controls and mitigate risks. • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations impacting the dental industry, and ensure timely compliance. • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. • Proven experience as a controller or senior finance manager, preferably within the dental industry or healthcare sector. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting requirements. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Experience with financial software systems and tools, such as ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Concur) and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. • Leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and team management skills. • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity in financial management and reporting.
