Job Description

• Teach students virtually during regular school hours

• Use assessment data and input grades in Canvas

• Engage students, teach and utilize content provided through Elevate and the Carnegie Math Curriculum

• Challenge accelerated students on their advanced learning pathway

• Preparation: We provide excellent preparation on online instruction-content readiness. You will use our curriculum and content and will not be required to create questions or content.

• Set time schedule: You will work online with pre-assigned students at pre-scheduled times that will be known to you before the start of the instruction program.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the United States.

• Active SECONDARY MATH TEACHING CERTIFICATE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS 

• The ability to be flexible in your schedule and quick to respond when needed

• Past experience working with students at the middle or high school level

• An engaging personality

• Passion for helping K-12 students

• Experience with delivering online instruction and teaching accelerated learners (optional) 

• Experience utilizing the Canvas grading system and Carnegie Math Curriculum (optional)
