    Elevate Management Company is a growing full-service association management company for non-profit associations, trade associations and professional societies. A few of the services that we provide for our clients include financial management, strategic planning, membership services, educational programs, professional development, event planning, Board of Directors facilitation, meetings management, marketing, and communication services.

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, and dedicated professional for the following position; ENGAGEMENT AND OUTREACH MANAGER. This role works alongside our clients to enhance and deepen the membership experience.

    The role will be focused on strategy, visioning, and relationship building along with design, execution, delivery of activities and hands-on services. The primary functions are programmatic and partnership-oriented, and some development, recruitment, and communications work.

    Qualified candidates will be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, is a self- starter with significant initiative, intuition, autonomy, and drive; able to work independently with little need for close management.

    • Ability and willingness to travel (est. 20% time) and work occasional nights/weekends as needed
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong project management skills
    • Experience creating and managing educational or social programming
    • The ability to collaborate with team members and build upon the ideas of others
    • Ability to create structure in ambiguous situations and propose viable solutions
    • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products and social media platforms
    • Bachelor’s Degree a minimum, MBA preferred

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build close relationships, provide ongoing outreach and education opportunities to various association members
    • Work with the association to increase its brand awareness and reach
    • Deepen and expand interactions with members; manage, strengthen, and extend member benefits, services, and supports accordingly
    • Develop campaigns and outreach programs that targets specific segmentation
    • Coordinate marketing campaigns in accordance with plan directives and activities
    • Regularly research and evaluate the relevance and accuracy of existing programs
    • Maximize participation in and satisfaction with programs, events, and activities
    • Create, plan and execute events to better engage target markets, in-person and virtual
    • Develop new benefits, programs, and events to address association gaps and industry needs.
    • Track and manage volunteer program and affinity groups.
    • Manage scholarship and grant programs/committees
    • Research and help build employment paths for young professionals with corporate partners, as well as internship programs for students interested in the industry
    • Develop, enhance, and update strategic plans for specific market segments and demographics
    • Learn the role of the membership coordinator and how the functions and processes impact membership numbers along with engagement
    • Execute and manage multiple, simultaneous projects using a multi-channel approach
    • Develop insights and provide recommendations for next steps ensuring broader team engagement. Development of detailed timelines and work breakdowns for project plans and related events.
    • Proactively identify implementation challenges and resolve them effectively and efficiently
    • Serve as a hub by ensuring alignment/cohesion between various staff, subsidiary organizations, officers, and committee chairs regarding the development and execution of strategic plans and programs
    • Review and optimize department budget
    • Maintain and track database activity, making regular changes and corrections as needed
    • Assist in updating/changing/adapting communication that coincide with goals and directives
    • Monthly and quarterly department reports and presentations
    • On-Site program and event management
    • Create social media content (graphics, thumbnails, edited videos), and post regularly
    • Manage specific webpages look/feel/content (working knowledge of HTML preferred)

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

    • Moderate travel which equates to about 6 to 8 out of state visits a year.
