SAHURI + Partners Architecture is looking for a new Senior Architectural Technologist to add to their team. You will play a pivotal role in our team by leveraging your expertise to create cutting-edge designs and oversee the technical aspects of our projects. As our Senior Architectural Technologist, your role will include:

• Preparing drawings using REVIT
• Constructing virtual models of architectural designs
• Producing, analyzing, and advising on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used
• Preparing listings of quantities of material from conceptual drawings and instructions
• Analyzing building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements, client standards, and other technical documents and reports
• Preparing contract and bidding documents such as Development Permit and Building Permit documents
• Leading the technical development of the design process and coordinating design information
• Leading and mentoring the junior technologists on the architectural team

On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience. Experience in an architectural firm would be an asset
• High proficiency and working knowledge of REVIT is a must
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
• Well-rounded experience, with an emphasis on commercial and institutional projects
• Experience organizing and assembling construction documents
• Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors; experience coordinating work of consulting engineers, design team and contract administration team
• Strong communication, organizational and collaborative skills. The ability to translate design intent into contract documents is a must
• General knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, building code, etc.
• Ability to be critical of progress drawings and provide quality control reviews for the team
