SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for the safe installation of Home Elevators with a focus on delivering the best quality to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Installing home elevators according to documented, 9-Stage Process for Installation.
Elevators to be installed and inspection ready at completion.
Complete installation of elevators at or below Ideal Hours.
Elevator installations must be completed with quality.
Rails and jack must be plumb within 1/8” top to bottom.
All wiring must be accurate and tidy.
Cab must be built plumb and square.
The Installation of the elevator must follow all safety guidelines with 0 (Zero) OSHA Recordables.
All PPE worn throughout installation.
Elevator installation complete and inspection ready.
No install work for adjuster to complete elevator.
Clean pit, cartop, and remove any trash from job site.
Inspection only, to be performed by adjuster.
Mechanics must be actively involved in or have completed C.E.T. Program.
SKILLS
Have a general knowledge of power and hand tools
Able to read a tape measure
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Use of safety documents, MSDS
Able to drive a vehicle and pull a trailer is a plus (if needed)
Ability to read elevator shop drawings and wiring diagrams
Must have dependable transportation
Mechanically inclined and able to learn quickly
Understand what plumb, level and square are
Be on time and ready to work
