Overview:
Our client is looking for a passionate, hardworking, and talented support engineer to help maintain the full suite of analytics tools, and develop scalable support process automation used within our proprietary platform, which is utilized in day-to-day investment decisions by the front office.
The Developer/Analyst (Support Engineer) will collaborate closely with application specialists, analytics developers, and investment professionals. The ideal candidate is someone who can effectively communicate with end-users and Investment Technology staff, and takes initiative to respond and solve various business challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day application support for multiple analytics applications; actively participate in support rotation across the analytics software toolchain
- Act as a liaison between end-users and application specialists, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout
- Assist on designing, implementing, and testing features across analytics products in tandem and close collaboration with application specialists and analytics developers
- Implement processes that further automation across the analytics support workflow
- Collaborate with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high quality software to meet or exceed schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience including agile principles, continuous delivery, version control and test-driven development
- 2+ years of programming experience using WPF, C#, SQL
- Experience with ETL technologies such as SSIS
