    We are looking for a Business Analyst to assist in developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software application projects with the goal of improved efficiency and productivity. They will provide excellent customer service to internal users and document each issue to ensure it is communicated to the product team for resolution. They will be working in the creative development department and committed to the discovery of innovative solutions in a shifting digital landscape. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Maximize usability by determining and developing user requirements for systems in production.
    • Analyze and executed quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
    • Create and implement new features by working with stakeholders with attention to transparent communication at all levels.
    • Provide ongoing support for line-of-business applications; determine problem resolution steps and processes, work with business representatives to resolve issues and identify root cause.
    • Provide ongoing support and problem resolution for line-of-business applications.
    • Design requirements that have clear descriptions (PBIs).
    • Convert broader reaching requirements into smaller, detailed user stories that fuel developer, user experience, and quality assurance resource efforts.
    • Work with product management team to identify opportunities to enhance the product.
    • Facilitate sprint planning and commitment meetings the beginning of each sprint.
    • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate changes and to gain buy-in.
    • Understand and effectively leverage business metrics and KPIs to support decision-making.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 2-3 years of business analyst and/or mortgage operations experience.
    • Maintains strong levels of ‘customer support’ in a complex environment.
    • Able to build and maintain effective business relationships.
    • Effectively presents and communicates to executive level audiences.
    • Simultaneously maintains a big picture view while being detail oriented.
    • Strong task management skills in an operations environment with proven ability to matrix-manage across multiple functions, locations, and time-zones.
    • Able to drive change and continuous improvement.
    • Knowledge of both SDLC and Agile methodologies.
